The LIM4ALL project and European values

This session provided an in-depth analysis of the LIM4ALL project, its objectives and how it aligns with broader European values such as inclusiveness, innovation and community engagement. The discussion focused on the role of museums in developing cultural understanding and social cohesion.

Initial brainstorming
Participants were divided into two groups to discuss their visions of a living museum. Each group presented its ideas, which included innovative concepts such as interactive exhibitions, inclusive designs, and community-led programmes. The session concluded with a group discussion on the feasibility and impact of these ideas.

Formulating new ideas on accessibility in the concept of a ‘living museum’
Participants worked in groups to develop new ideas for making museums more accessible. Ideas included sensory displays, multilingual audio guides, interactive maps for visitors with limited vision, etc. Each group presented their concepts, which were then discussed and finalised with input from the whole group.

New museum website
Participants began integrating their ideas into a new accessible website that the museum could use. This session focused on the user experience so that the website would be accessible to all visitors, including those with disabilities.

Presentation at MOSAIC HUB On the final day of the training, we included a review of the week’s activities, a presentation of the final idea, and a formal conclusion.
